Jess Frank is a certifiable golf genius. Jess recently led my sons (ages 15 and 12) and I through two 2-hour lessons. None of us had any prior playing experience, and yet by the end of the first half hour we were all hitting the ball straight and true. It’s amazing to me that Jess kept both boys engaged the entire time, and that each drill and exercise Jess put us through immediately improved how we swung the club and how we hit the ball.
What I’m most impressed by is how much we learned. None of us will be joining the tour after just 4 hours of instruction, but we all feel comfortable and confident about being able to hold our own at the range and on the course.
I’m also extremely thankful that Jess’s easygoing manner and gentle but precise instruction shaped my kids’ understanding of the game. They’ve already asked when we’ll be able to go to the range again, and when we can hit the course. I love having another enjoyable way to spend time with my sons, and a lot of the credit for that goes to Jess.
I took two lessons with Jess while visiting home, never having played golf before. Jess was an excellent teacher. He is down-to-earth, patient, and knowledgable. His methods ensure that you leave with an understanding of the mechanics and foundations of golf. I am excited to start playing the game and hope to take more lessons with him in the future.
I’m your classic golfer struggling with consistency and battling to post a double-digit scoring round. I’ve never taken a golf lesson and have procrastinated for many years to do so. I finally took the plunge after seeing Jess at the practice facility working with a student. I could easily see he had the personality and instructional demeanor that I was looking for. I signed up that very day for a multi-lesson package and couldn’t be happier with the results. I found myself always looking forward to the next lesson and working on a different area of my game. Positive results came early and my consistency improved with every lesson.
I recently returned from a golf outing and my friends all noticed a marked improvement in my overall game; consistent swing, solid ball striking and improved performance around the green. My scoring also reflected an improved game from the previous year. I’m looking forward to more instruction from Jess, continued improvement on the course and lower scores!
I Didn't know what to expect coming in. I have a bit of a "home made" swing; (instincts, YouTube and time on the range tinkering) and managed to get myself down to roughly a 12 handicap, with issues remaining of a nasty slice with my driver and inconsistent strikes with my 3 wood and long irons. Jess assessed my needs, gathered some background info; and most importantly, spent time watching me swing before getting into anything adjustment wise. I'm not trying to make the tour or perform miracles overnight. I just wanted someone with an expert eye to address a few of the major flaws holding back my game at this current moment. I needed someone to show me how to correct those flaws without trying to completely rebuild my swing from the ground up. Jess did that and more. I am beyond satisfied with the time we spent during my lesson, it was incredibly productive. Jess has a casual demeanor and a laid back style, but doesn't lack in knowledge and coaching ability at all. 10/10 I would recommend him, and I will be back in the future when the time comes for another lesson.
Jess quickly got to my biggest swing problem and fixed it with an easy drill that I could practice at home. That fix followed through from my long clubs to my pitching and even my putting!! Just what I wanted - a lesson that got me started on improving my entire game. The video and photos that he sent after the lesson were so helpful in reinforcing the change and reminding me of the practice drill. What made the experience even more fun is that Jess is a super great guy to be around. Susan Yeager
